The grand debut of our compact heroes.
Lithium battery WP-LFP

The WP-LFP lithium battery is characterized by scalability, high energy density and excellent safety.
With 4.4 kWh and 20 kW, our lithium battery offers outstanding power and energy density. Thanks to seamless communication with the Wöhrle HMI (Human Machine Interface), you will be able to read important data directly on the display in the future. This integrated communication enables efficient monitoring of your battery storage system.
With its remarkable flexibility, our lithium battery is the optimal choice for harsh environments, whether outdoors or in industrial applications. Its wide temperature range enables reliable performance even under extreme conditions.
With integrated isolating elements in every battery, we set new standards in terms of safety. You can rest assured that your power supply is guaranteed even in the event of unforeseen events, without having to rely on higher-level facilities or UPS systems. Our battery guarantees security through read-only access. This means it remains operational at all times, even in the event of targeted attacks.
Thanks to its extremely compact format of just 2 U, installation can be carried out without lifting aids. In addition, the hot-plug function and the self-finding plug make installation easier. The mounting concept makes it possible to replace the battery in just a few simple steps. In addition, the 19-inch fixing concept enables simple and problem-free integration into the standard cabinet format. Despite its high performance, the battery weighs only 42 kg, which also makes it easier to handle.

UPS system WP2-R

The WP2-R UPS system impresses with its high efficiency and reliable availability.
The new model of the Wöhrle Power series WP2-R has a very high power density, which means that even higher outputs can be realized with a small footprint. Thanks to its modularity, it is possible to use only the hardware required for the existing load and thus avoid oversizing.
The WP2-R offers sustainability at all levels. Thanks to the flat efficiency curve, the UPS offers high efficiency and low energy losses. With an efficiency of 97.6 % in online double conversion mode and 99.4 % in ECO mode, the model exceeds all previous standards. This reduces heat generation and therefore also the size and cost of your cooling system.
The WP2-R also boasts a long product service life of 15 years and a material that can be recycled up to 98%.
Thanks to the scalable and distributed modular DARA architecture, the WP2-R fulfills the requirements for reliability and maximum availability of
99.9999999 %. Thanks to its vertical and horizontal scalability and various cabling and ventilation options, the UPS system can be used flexibly for a wide range of applications.
The DARA technology has been designed to enable non-invasive maintenance and minimize repair time. Redundancy is integrated into all levels of the system. This ensures continuity even in the event of a battery string failure. This minimizes downtime and allows the UPS to provide uninterrupted power to critical applications.

Batteries
Batteries for a Reliable Power Supply and UPS Systems
Batteries are a crucial component of reliable power supply systems. In UPS systems and industrial applications, they take over the power supply when the grid fails or experiences disruptions. In this way, they protect critical loads, processes, and data from interruptions.
Wöhrle SVS offers batteries and battery systems for professional applications where availability, safety, and technical integration are key. The company does not focus on consumer batteries, but rather on energy storage solutions for UPS systems, critical infrastructure, and industrial power supplies.
Battery Systems as the Foundation of a Reliable Energy Supply
A battery system must be precisely tailored to the application. Key factors include power output, runtime, battery technology, space requirements, ambient temperature, monitoring, maintainability, and integration into existing power supply systems. Especially in UPS systems, the battery is often the critical factor when it comes to actual availability in an emergency.
Typical applications include data centers, server rooms, industrial facilities, control systems, security infrastructure, communication systems, and technical facilities with high reliability requirements.
Lithium Batteries for Modern UPS Applications
In today's competitive landscape, modern battery systems are becoming increasingly important because companies are considering not only availability but also space requirements, service life, and operating costs. Depending on the application, lithium-based battery systems can offer advantages such as high energy density, a compact design, good scalability, and efficient monitoring.
Wöhrle SVS addresses these requirements through modern solutions such as the WP-LFP battery, provided it is technically suitable for the specific application. Lithium iron phosphate technology, in particular, can be of interest for critical applications where safety, stability, and long-term operational reliability are important.
Focus on Safety, Maintenance, and Disposal
Batteries should not be planned in isolation. Key considerations include regular inspection, replacement, maintenance, monitoring, and proper disposal at the end of their life cycle. Wöhrle SVS therefore supports battery systems from selection through integration and maintenance to safe disposal.
Frequently Asked Questions About Batteries for UPS Systems
Which batteries are suitable for UPS systems?
That depends on performance, runtime, the environment, safety requirements, and life-cycle costs. Specialized battery systems are used for professional applications.
What are the advantages of lithium batteries?
Lithium batteries can be more compact, lighter, and longer-lasting than traditional systems. Depending on the application, they offer advantages in terms of space requirements, scalability, and monitoring.
When should a battery system be inspected?
Battery systems should be inspected regularly as part of routine maintenance, since their capacity and condition are critical to the availability of the UPS system.
Does Wöhrle SVS also provide support with replacement and disposal?
Yes. Wöhrle SVS manages batteries throughout their entire life cycle—including testing, replacement, and proper disposal.
