To support our team, we are looking for an experienced purchaser (m/f/d) for operational purchasing in the field of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) at our location in Steinenbronn with immediate effect.

Your tasks

  • From supplier contact to the availability of goods, we ensure smooth procurement processes while optimally meeting economic and technical requirements - your contribution counts towards our success!
  • International purchasing of electronic and mechanical components for production and development
  • Processing order transactions in standard business and project-specific procurement processes
  • Complaints and returns - solution-oriented processing and handling with internal departments
  • Data maintenance and updating of purchasing and customs data in the ERP system (ABAS)
  • Scheduling and deadline management to ensure compliance with delivery dates and schedules
  • Continuous cost and performance optimization with identification of optimization potentials
  • Implementation of procurement strategies for optimal material supply and competitiveness
  • Price and contract negotiations to optimize purchasing conditions and preparation of contract conclusions with suppliers (German and English)
  • Internal cooperation for optimal material supply and optimization of purchasing strategies

Your profile

  • Completed training or studies in the commercial, technical or economic field
  • Relevant experience in procurement / purchasing and sound knowledge of materials management
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills as well as a high affinity for numbers and quality awareness
  • Negotiating skills and a confident and engaging manner
  • Initiative, flexibility, organizational talent, assertiveness and a hands-on mentality
  • Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken) and confident with IT systems
