An SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a widely used protocol for managing and monitoring network devices that has been specially developed for exchanging data via Ethernet-based networks. It enables the remote monitoring of devices such as UPS systems, routers, switches and other network components to monitor their status and performance data in real time.
