Input (single-phase)
A single-phase input is a common configuration in UPS systems, designed for operation with alternating current (AC). This type of input is particularly suitable for applications where a single-phase power supply is required, as used in many households and small commercial establishments. The single-phase input is often operated with a nominal voltage of 230 V and includes the neutral conductor (N) as well as the protective earth conductor (PE), which is referred to as P E N.
