Safety power supply
The safety power supply is a specially designed power supply for vital or operationally important consumers that are considered to be in particular need of protection in accordance with applicable safety regulations. The aim is to continue to reliably supply these systems with energy even in the event of a power failure or faults in the power grid.
Key features:
- Independent of the regular power grid, e.g. through UPS systems, emergency generators or battery systems
- High availability and reliability
- Compliance with legal requirements, e.g. in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-560, DIN EN 50171 or corresponding state building regulations
