Network feedback refers to the negative effects that arise in AC and three-phase networks due to non-sinusoidal phase-shifted currents. These feedback effects can occur in UPS systems occur when the rectifier generates harmonics in the current. These harmonics influence the grid impedances and cause voltage harmonics. Such mains feedback can lead to interference in other electrical devices and impair the power quality. To minimize these problems, active mains filters are often used in UPS systems to compensate for the harmonics and ensure a stable power supply.
