Manual bypass

The manual bypass is a manually operated switch that is integrated into UPS systems in order to UPS from the mains during maintenance work or repairs. This switch is also known as an inspection bypass or service bypass and enables the UPS system to be serviced without interrupting the power supply to the connected devices.
