The internal shutdown of a UPS system is an important protective function that ensures that the battery of the UPS system does not enter a state of deep discharge. This function protects both the UPS system and the connected loads from possible damage due to low battery voltage. The internal shutdown ensures that in the event of critical voltage fluctuations, operation of the UPS safely and in a controlled manner before a damaging deep discharge occurs.
