Crest factor

The crest factor, also known as the current crest factor, is an important characteristic value in electrical engineering that describes the ratio of the peak current (crest value) to the effective value of the current. Especially in UPS systems the crest factor is a critical factor, as it determines the load and the power requirements of the connected loads.
