Cos Phi

The power factor (Cos Phi) describes the ratio between active power and apparent power in a UPS system. A low Cos Phi indicates a high reactive power, which can impair the efficiency of the UPS system. To ensure optimum performance, the Cos Phi should be as close to 1 as possible.
